【緬甸全天然手工皂】

來自緬甸NGO【MESO】的全天然手工皂, 以在地天然植物及材料製作, 共有兩款: Thanaka(黃香楝) 和 Bamboo charcoal(竹炭), 每件手工皂約重80克, 獨立包裝, 不含防腐劑及任何化學物、合成香料，適合每日使用及用於任何皮膚。

緬甸人習慣將黃香楝樹幹磨成粉，當地人稱之為Thanaka，現已成為緬甸人獨有的文化。婦女、小孩們喜歡在臉上塗上一片Thanaka，因為它是完全天然，無任何添加化學成分，不會對人體產生危害作用，所以緬甸人把它塗抹在臉上，既可防止紫外線，又起到清涼的作用，還有顯著的抗老化與美白功效。竹炭則具有殺菌、止癢、去死皮的功效。經常使用能有效吸附皮脂和皮膚新陳代謝物，提高皮膚光潔度，使皮膚保持良好的狀態。

Myanmar Education Support Organization (MESO) 聘請婦女製作手工皂, 而手工皂的銷售不只協助他們就業, 收益更會幫助緬甸的兒童就學, 為他們提供獎學金

Education of 10th standard in Myanmar requires many pupils from rural areas to board in the next biggest town - an expenditure for many families unaffordable. MESO, the Myanmar Education Support Organization, financially supports education for those students through the sale of handmade soaps. Initially focusing on 10th grade students today, MESO has extended its support to university students as well. MESO is the initiative of Ms. Nobuko Shoda and today manages the soap production with 3 young women. MESO receives further funding for its program from donations and international supporters.
